Privacy Policy

Scriptmakers takes data privacy seriously and takes all technical and organisational measures necessary to guarantee data privacy. Scriptmakers wishes to explain to you in detail in this privacy policy statement what personal data are collected and used when you visit the Scriptmakers site and how you can get further benefit by voluntarily giving further information.

1. Responsibility

The responsible entity within the meaning of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) is Scriptmakers.

2. Collection, processing and utilisation of data

2.1 General

Personal data shall mean “any information concerning the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”)” (Section 3 (1) BDSG). Personal data include for instance name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. Scriptmakers utilises your personal data in accordance with the law, in particular the data protection provisions of the Telemedia Act (TMG) and, supplementary to this, of the BDSG.

2.2 Automatically collected use data

Every time this web presence is used, so-called use data are logged in server log files, as is usual in the Internet. These use data are automatically transmitted by your Internet browser. They include the following information:

• IP address (Internet Protocol Address) of the computer from which the Scriptmakers.de site is accessed;
• Internet address of the website from which the Scriptmakers.de site is accessed (source or referrer URL);
• Name of the server provider via which the Scriptmakers.de site is accessed;
• Name of the accessed data or information;
• Date and time and duration of access;
• Data quantity transmitted;
• Operating system and information on the Internet browser of the computer accessing the Scriptmakers.de site;

2.3 Online registration

If you wish to use the Scriptmakers agency services, you must register on our website. Scriptmakers will utilise your personal data for replying to enquiries and will store and use them for the purpose of carrying out our agency service.

Which and to what extent data can be seen and used by other visitors to scriptmakers.de depends on the type of membership.

Once the contract has been fully executed your data, which must be kept for legal reasons, will be blocked. These data will no longer be accessible for further utilisation. Otherwise, personal data will be deleted unless you have expressly agreed to the continued processing and use of your data.

You may order and at any time cancel the newsletter via the contact form. If you send a message to Scriptmakers by e-mail, Scriptmakers will utilise your data from this correspondence only for the purpose of processing your questions and suggestions and being able to send you a reply.

This website uses cookies to help give you an enhanced user experience. Cookies are small text files which are transmitted to your browser while you are accessing the website. Cookies are automatically stored on your computer. Cookies do not enable Scriptmakers to identify personal details of non-registered users. However, cookies help to make our website more user-friendly. You can disable cookies using your browser settings, but this may mean that you cannot use certain functions of this website. Previously stored cookies may be deleted at any time in the system settings of your browser.

4. Links to external websites

Our privacy policy notice only applies to the Internet platform of Scriptmakers. Scriptmakers cannot guarantee that the operators of linked websites comply with data privacy regulations.

5. Changes to the privacy policy

We will inform you by e-mail of any changes to our privacy policy affecting the way your personal data are processed. If you do not agree to the latest version, you may revoke your agreement within four weeks, during which time the changes will not affect you.

6. Right of information

You have the right at any time to be informed about the data stored about you, about the source of the data and their recipients as well as the purpose for which they have been stored. We will be happy to provide you upon request, immediately and free of charge, in line with applicable legislation, with information on the stored data.

7. Data security

Scriptmakers makes every technical and organisational effort in line with the state of technical developments necessary to secure your personal data against loss, destruction, counterfeiting or dissemination by unauthorised persons and against becoming known to such persons. In particular, your personal data in our membership area are transmitted in encrypted form. We use the TLS (Transport Layer Security) coding system for this.

We would point out that data transmission in the Internet (e.g. in e-mail communication) can be subject to gaps in security. It is not possible to protect data completely against access by third parties.

The use by third parties of the contact information we are obliged by law to publish in the Legal Notice to send advertising and information materials we have not expressly requested is expressly prohibited. The operators of the web pages reserve the right to take legal steps in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, e.g. in the form of Spam mail.

8. No third parties

We will not disclose your information to any third parties unless you have agreed to this or we are entitled or obliged to disclose data by law or by official or court order.
